Happpy New Year!

Happy 2009! Trying to catch up following the holidays! Quinn had a fabulous first Christmas! Prior to leaving VA Beach, we had an early celebration with the Lyon Family-here are Quinn & little boyfriend, Mitch below... Sus and I have a pre-arranged marriage in the works :)

We spent Chirstmas in Harpursville-one final celebration at the Loch's before Gram & Poppy head to Michigan in the springtime. Quinn had a blast getting re-aquainted with Mason, Spencer & Chase-they were SO sweet entertaining her and showering her with attention!

She spent much of Christmas morning asleep in Auntie Brooke's arms while Mom & Dad opened her gifts...she wasn't spoiled or anything :)

Aunt Shannon & Uncle Sean sent loads of great Aussie books to familiarize her with Wombats & Kangaroos from downunder and she'll soon be sporting her new pink UGGS! How fitting that a 'shoe bank' came from the footwear fashionista as well-now she can keep up her style!

Next stop was Proctor where Quinn met her cousins from Boston for the first time! Grace, Lucas & Lily couldn't wait to take turn holding her and Lil was very quick to ensure that Quinn had her 'nana' at all times....even if her mouth wasn't open looking for it!
Aunt Missi & Papa couldn't believe the change from the NICU...what happened to the 5 pounder they first met? Quinn is proudly tipping the scales at 14 now-what a change!!!

We surprised my parents on Dec. 28th celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a brunch with close friends-Congrats Mom & Dad, such a milestone!
Now Quinn and I are relaxing in VT enjoying more snow after saying goodbye to Brent who left last Saturday to start his Top Gun course in Fallon, NV. Daddy certainly misses his little girl, but we're able to fit in a few skype/webcam sessions in between his rigorous studies so he can star his day with her morning smiles!
We'll return to the Beach in another week and I'll resume working from home starting on the 20th ... for now I'm in search of part-time Quinn-care, a more difficult task than anticipated! Scanning sittercity profiles has become my latest pasttime.
Okay-off to toss the frisbee to Soph-she is not quite sure what to do with the latest 5+inches of fresh snow we have outside, quite a winter wonderland for the Southern Weim!
