'Baby J' is really in there!!!

Well, it's official, I'm really growing a life! Had the big ultrasound 2 weeks ago while my mom was in town, and, No...we didn't find out the sex-sorry! Cast your votes to the left on what you think we're having. Check out this perfect little hand:





SO thankful my mom was here to help me make some decisions on baby gear, registry items, etc.-who knew Babies-R-Us was so overwhelming??? We had a great time and it was really nice having her here with me! Finalized my stroller decision and will purchase the nursery glider this weekend-very exciting!

Less than 1 week until I meet Brent in Dubai-can't wait! He'll be surprised to see my belly and hopefully be able to feel this little guy/girl moving around a bit-yes, I can already feel the flutters :)

Costa Rica with the Hilburns

Trying to schedule a vacation with your Navy friends can be somewhat difficult, but we managed to squeeze in an awesome Costa Rican vacation in February upon John's return from his last deployment and before Brent took off for his in March....









We had an amazing time and saw much of the countryside-starting north near Arenal Volcano in the La Fortuna area, followed by a trip to the Monteverde Cloud Forest region and then South for some R&R on the Manual Antonio beaches. I was amazed by all the cute monkeys and wildlife-check out the little mama with baby on her back that greeted us at breakfast on our last day...it should have been a sign for us then, Caroline :)
